1. About Us

Marie Jeanette Designs is an Australian-based jewellery brand offering handcrafted bespoke (custom-made) and classic jewellery pieces. Each bespoke item is individually created to reflect our client’s vision and style.

2. Use of the Website

  • You must be at least 18 years old to place an order through our website.

  • You agree not to use the website for any unlawful purpose or in any way that may impair its functionality.

3. Orders and Payment

3.1 Bespoke Orders

  • Bespoke jewellery orders are custom-designed and made specifically for you. These items are non-refundable unless deemed faulty under Australian Consumer Law.

  • A non-refundable deposit may be required before production begins.

  • Any changes to the design after confirmation may incur additional charges and affect delivery timelines.

3.2 Classic Collection

  • Classic pieces (non-custom items) may be returned or exchanged in accordance with our returns policy (see Section 5).

3.3 Payment

  • Payments can be made via secure payment gateways provided on our website.

  • All prices are in Australian Dollars (AUD) and include GST unless otherwise stated.

4. Shipping and Delivery

  • We deliver Australia-wide and internationally (subject to location).

  • Shipping times may vary depending on the product and delivery location. Bespoke orders typically require 8 – 12  weeks for production.

  • Marie Jeanette Designs is not liable for delays caused by third-party carriers or customs processes.

5. Returns, Refunds & Exchanges

5.1 Australian Consumer Law

Under the Australian Consumer Law, you are entitled to a refund or replacement if your item is faulty, significantly different from its description, or unfit for purpose.

5.2 Bespoke Jewellery

  • Due to the personalised nature, bespoke items cannot be returned or refunded unless they are faulty.

  • If your item arrives damaged or defective, contact us within 7 days of receipt with photographs and a description of the issue.

5.3 Classic Jewellery

  • Classic items can be returned or exchanged within 14 days of receipt, provided they are unworn, in original condition, and with packaging intact.

  • Tracked return shipping is at the buyer’s expense unless the item is faulty.

6. Intellectual Property

All content on this website, including designs, images, logos, and text, is the intellectual property of Marie Jeanette Designs and protected under Australian copyright and trademark laws. You may not use or reproduce any content without express written permission.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by law, Marie Jeanette Designs will not be liable for any indirect or consequential loss, damage, or expense arising from the use of our website or products.
